Her training background started when she became a puppy raiser for The Seeing Eye of Morristown, New Jersey while a freshman at the University of Delaware. Along with a few of her classmates, she helped start the Puppy Raisers of UD (PROUD) program. This program is still being run at the university today.
After realizing how much she enjoyed training her Seeing Eye puppy, Rory researched training programs around the country and chose the Animal Behavior College in Southern California. She participated in an internship with Holly Miller of Amazing Canine and received her certification in early 2010 and immediately became a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.
When Rory isn't working, she enjoys hiking with Chomper, her rescued border collie/chow mix, visiting the dog park, watching Flyers' hockey and camping.
